Hi! My name is Carissa Nickell and I’m the face behind The Indy Rose. Photography started off as a hobby and grew into a fun way to give back to others. Besides photography, I spend most of my time outside, hiking, running, lifting, and traveling. I am a local, Ohio University alum (Class of 2023) and am currently back in school for nursing! When I am not studying, I am coaching basketball at Athens High School, running, or working for the Ohio Army National Guard. Let's connect!
